ASUS Eee PC 1015B, Eee PC 1215B Netbooks Announced w/ AMD Fusion Get Hands On Treatment

ASUS has announced two new netbooks powered by the AMD Fusion processor. The ASUS Eee PC 1015B and ASUS Eee PC 1215B netbooks were shown off at CeBIT in early march and should both be available soon with the latest AMD Fusion processors which combines the CPU and the GPU to deliver better graphics performance without increasing the cost of the device. Both netbooks are available in black and white colors.

ASUS Eee PC 1015B Quick Specs: The Eee PC 1015B has a 10.1″ display, the option of a 1.2GHz single core AMD Fusion C-30 APU, ATI Radeon HD 6250 graphics, 1GB RAM expandable to 2GB and a 250GB hard drive. There is also HDMI output, Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11 b/g/n. The Eee PC 1015B will start at $289.

ASUS Eee PC 1215B Quick Specs: This larger netbook has a 12.1″ display and is powered by either a 1GHz dual core AMD Fusion C-50 APU, Radeon HD 6250 graphics, 1GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive. This model will retail for $379.99. The more powerful version will have a 1.6GHz dual core AMD Fusion E-350 APU and include Radeon HD 6130 graphics, 2GB RAM (upgradeable to 4GB) and a 320GB hard drive for $449. Both of these models come with HDMI output, Bluetooth 3.0 and wireless b/g/n.
