Google sent out invitations to a press event on Feb. 2 to talk about Android and the Honeycomb operating system, which is Android 3.0. Google calls this the first version of Android made with tablets in mind.
The event will be at Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California. They will start at 10:00 a.m. PST and show off the product with hands on demonstrations afterwards. The event will be streamed live on Youtube. According to the invite they will be showing “an in-depth look at Honeycomb, Android ecosystem news and hands-on demos.” This sounds a lot like they are finally releasing the next version of Android very soon. Honeycomb tablets should be coming within the next few months.
