The IdeaPad Z Series laptops make use of the new Intel Second Generation Core i processors with TurboBoost 2.0 technology which delivers more power when you need it. The IdeaPad Z Series can be configured with up to a Core i7 processor.

The various models are as follows:

  • IdeaPad Z370 – 13.3″
  • IdeaPad Z470 – 14″
  • IdeaPad Z570 – 15.6″

In addition to running the latest Intel Core i processors which have a built in Intel GPU the Z Series can be configured with GPU options from NVIDIA. The Z370 can be purchased with up to a NVIDIA GeForce 410M GPU with 1 GB RAM and the Z470/Z570 can be configured with up to a NVIDIA GeForce 525M GPU with 2GB RAM.

The IdeaPad Z Series has plenty of power inside, but it also has an eye catching exterior with an “ID Design” on the cover and “pop colors” such as fuchsia, sky blue and dark brown. The IdeaPad Z560 model can be configured with a “metallic effect” panel for a “luxry appearance”.

The IdeaPad Z Series laptops come with Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7 which includes optimizations for multimedia playback as well as faster start up and shut down times.

Lenovo has not announced pricing or availability of the updated IdeaPad Z Series, though we anticipate it will be in line with the current pricing of the Z Series.
