LG announces the LG A510 3D Notebook, the Company’s First

LG announced that the company would enter the 3D notebook market this year with the LG A510, a 15.6″ notebook that will be the company’s first foray into the 3D notebook space.

The LG A510 will sport a 3D screen that has a 1080P (1920 x 1080) resolution and will make use of polarized glasses to display 3D images. The Graphics will be powered by an NVIDIA GeForce GPU and while there is no mention of the specific model it will likely be one of the new NVIDIA GeForce 400M GPUs.

Under the hood the LG A510 will be packing up to a quad-core Intel Core i7-840M processor running at 1.86GHz and come with 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 640GB hard drive and a Blu-Ray player.

There was no pricing announced, but the notebook will begin shipping in Asia, South America, the Middle East and Africa in October. A U.S. release date was not stated.
