Google Searched – refurbished Eee PC 900A…

Yes I did your same search and found your 58 dollar laptop…battery…

However Janet is right, maybe not about the 58 dollar Asus, but a quick search on places like CraigsList, can easily allow you to find a net-book to your liking, for close to the same price. Yes I bought this net-book, and its 300 MHz ARM processor is nothing to be proud of, but I didn’t buy it for what it is posted for, I use it to mess with Google Android, even though its an Outdated version, it proves to be fun for the geek side of me. However those of you out there looking to purchase this net-book for your kids, friends and the like, I would suggest against it. Shop elsewhere in this case, Walmart is definitely better if any store for cheap net-book, laptop shopping.

TO EVERYONE WHO SAYS YOU SHOULDN’T EXPECT MORE FOR $100: You are morons and deserve to be robbed of that 100 bucks in this way.

I’m SORRY, but for $100 I DO expect MUCH MORE than this garbage. In fact, I would be willing to spend $10 MAXIMUM on this heap of dross. Why? Because for $100 or $150 I can buy a used or refurbished REAL netbook with reasonable specs, which can actually perform basic tasks like display normal web pages, stream video, chat, play games, etc. IN FACT, I just googled it right now: some sites are selling refurbished Asus Eee PC 900A netbooks for $58 – FIFTY-EIGHT DOLLARS – and those have a whole gig of RAM and a real hard drive!

So no, you idiots, the hardware you’re buying here for $100 is NOT worth EVEN REMOTELY that. But hey, if you like to throw away money on what amounts to a PalmPilot with a bigger screen, be my guest. Natural selection at its finest.

I bought one of these for my son who is 10 yrs old he really loved it until he tried recharging it and it never worked again. Taking it back to CVS. Even the sales rep at CVS said make sure to hang onto the receipt because he had a customer who returned 2 of them for the same reason, they did not hold a charge! Not a suggested buy.

or, you could buy the Sylvania 7″ with 128MB RAM 2GB Flash HD for $99 PLUS TAX

I bought one of these and had to return it. Very, very slow when it did work. I tried for 2 weeks to reach support number, left 6 messages, and not even 1 call was returned. Piece of junk. Don’t waste your time or money. CVS did return my money with no questions asked.
