Best Buy is offering the Sony VPCEB23FM/BI notebook for $679.99 in time for the back to school season. This Sony notebook VPCEB23FM/BI is a Best Buy exclusive notebook and is part of the Sony VAIO EB series.
The gunmetal black Sony VPCEB23FM/BI notebook comes with an Intel Core i3 processor, 15.5 inch HD display, 4 GB memory, Windows 7 64 bit operating system, built-in motion eye webcam with microphone and face tracking technology. This notebook also features a double layer DVD±RW/CD-RW, 320 GB hard drive and a multimedia card reader.
The Sony VPCEB23FM/BI notebook mixes power and style together in a package that can handle school work, video chat, watching movies and light photo and video editing. You should also be able to do some casual gaming, but due to the integrated Intel HD graphics, modern video games are out of the picture.
The Sony VPCEB23FM/BI provides 3 hours and 30 minutes of battery life and weighs in at a heavy, but still portable enough for classes, 5,9 pounds. If you’re looking for a cheaper, similarly spec’d notebook check out the HP G62-234DX that is on sale for $499.

my father bought me this model and after 1 month of using it, i dont really know what happen. just one day when i want to use it, just appear on screen “operating system not found”…. we thought maybe it was a factory defect coz were just using it in a short period of time. my father bought it in hawaii and im here in the philippines…how can sony company replace it…it has 3 months for replacement but we dont know who to contact…because in here, the service center said that we have to contact were we bought it…can someone help me????
the same thing it happened to me, but I bought it in USA and I’m in Mexico, after 3 months of use the same message appear so I called the service center and say the same so I called the BB store and the told me that the warranty doesn’t apply when you export the merchandise and they told me too that it was just a trubble with the Hard Disk so I bought a newone and intalled…
