Samsung R480 Hands On: First Impressions (Video)
The Samsung R480 is the smallest notebook in the new R Series from Samsung which means it immediately caught my attention. This 14″ notebook is was announced at CES 2010 and features the new Intel Core i3 processor as well as a Blu-Ray drive. Samsung sent us over a review unit to test out which we have been doing for the past few days. This Samsung R480 Hands on will be followed up with a Full Samsung R480 review soon.
Samsung R480 Hands On:
As you can tell from the video, I am a pretty big fan of the keyboard (which compares well to the Lenovo Edge 14) and small touches like the battery charge indicator. We’ll be looking at the device closer and will let you know how our first impressions hold up after further use.

- Samsung R480 Review: Great Keyboard and Blu-Ray | Notebooks.com | June 10, 2010

By “compare well”, do you mean it is perform better, perform worse, or do you mean they are equal. Which keyboard would you recommend.
I mean it feels very similar to the Lenovo in terms of feedback and use. Based on my first few days of use the Lenovo Edge 13 or 14 Keyboards are still a little bit better in that the keys are a little taller.
If this doesn't help I will try to do a keyboard comparison shot to show what I mean.
Does it have a freefall Sensor?
I cant seem to open the “express card slot” just like this review. Anyone got any idea what the problem is?
does it have a mic
