The leaked Apple iPhone has been major news in geekland for the past couple of weeks. Daily Show host Jon Stewart talked about how much he likes Apple’s products and dislikes how Apple’s handling the fiasco. The next generation prototype iPhone was lost in a bar, sold to Gizmodo and detailed on video. Jon Stewart talked about how cool Apple used to appear and likened the company’s handling of the lost iPhone to ‘Big Brother,’ who was depicted in Apple’s 1984 Superbowl ad.
Jon Stewart pointed out that while Bill Gates is busy saving the world, Apple is busy getting police to kick in doors. Jon Stewart’s commentary on the lost iPhone took up nearly nine minutes of the Daily Show.
