I don't have an iPad, but I have a netbook that I use as my primary computing device. Can you enlighten me on the features and applications that the iPad has as a direct counterpart to the following applications that I use in my netbook (or you can indicate if the said application type won't work in iPad):

1. Microsoft Word

2. Microsoft Excel

3. Notepad

4. Internet Browser (I mostly use Google Chrome)

5. A browser-based but offline Bible that is tabbed down to a single verse

6. Games (mostly browser-based)

7. Microsoft Powerpoint

8. Yahoo Messenger

9. Browser-based chat clients (in lieu of YM in some cases where it's blocked)

10. Adobe PDF reader

Your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

If you built a Web 2.0 app, architected and configured it to allow users to easily access their data on the cloud like WizFolio, then it can run quite well on an iPad.

http://blog.wizfolio.com/index.php/2010/04/wizf...

Disclosure: I am a developer of WizFolio.

It also works on regular PC – Firefox, Explorer and Safari browsers.

200Linx.com will make your surfing experience a whole lot easier…

it’s simply the best site for the new iPad

try it…

"Perhaps I have fallen victim to the Jobsian philosophy that the netbook is a vile, under-powered computer with no place in existence. Spend a few hours with an iPad and you will likely adopt that philosophy as well."

Are you going to rename your site? :)
