I doubt iPad will take off because of lack of features. Check out this parody video clip and you will know:

According to Macgasm, the Kindle app could make or break the iPad:

“A well designed Kindle application could seriously put a stranglehold on the iBookstore, and with rumors that other companies, such as Barnes and Noble, thinking about putting together their own bookstores on the iPad, things are going to get plenty interesting after launch.” (http://bit.ly/ahxhuA)

Smart move from Amazon. Apple has their hands firmly gripped on a big piece of the market, might as well try and leverage that as much as possible. What you guys think…does this smell like the end of the Kindle?

  5. No, but I do think Amazon will rethink things. They should keep selling and producing the Kindle so long as people keep buying books. The Kindle is not their money source, the books are. Also I think some just won't buy an Apple product and others don't want anything other than an eBook reader.
