We’ve teamed up with SCOTTEVEST to give away Scott’s latest creation- the SeV Soft Shell Jacket. This SeV is great for colder climates, but is thin enough to allow you to move around. Our own Warner Crocker just received one from his wife for Christmas.

The SeV Soft Shell Jacket has three layers of breathable fabric that can stand up to water and wind. It has 19 pockets for all of your gadgets, including one that lets you see and touch your touch-enabled devices.

I would put myself first in this jacket along with pack of gum, little flashlight, car keys, maybe a candy bar for a treat later and 2 kittens stuffed inside for added warmth. I would wear this outside here in MI cause its so cold out and the snow is piling up. I would also wear this sleding down a hill or for walks out in the cold. I have to have air cause its stuffy in here.

  2. LilyBiscuit7 says:

I'd give it to my younger brother who is a college freshman. His major is computer engineering. He has an iPhone, video camera, headphones, ear pieces and more gadgets than anyone I know. He also fixes computers etc for everyone who asks for free! Great Kid. He'd love this! Thanks.

  3. sarabroers says:

I would give this to my hubby- he drives a semi and is always looking for easy ways to access his gadgets. His I-phone would be in the most reachable/viewable pocket. His I-touch would be close, as he watches a lot of movies on that! He would also need a pocket for his digital camera- I-phone works ok for photos, but it's nice to have the digital camera close by. Great Giveaway!

I love walking and am a theme park junkie, so phone, keys, camera, flip video camera, Zune, gum, breath mints, pen, and a bottle of water. If my wife is with me, she normally doesn't have many pockets or carries a purse, so add her keys, phone, wallet, and camera. Don't think I'll use it for diapers, etc. for the geekling, though. ;)

  5. victoria99999 says:

I would put my lip balm SeV Soft Shell Jacket and I would use it while sking up North because the lining of the Jacket is soft and warm?

  6. Paul Martin says:

I love the looks of this jacket. I used to have a soft jacket that got misplaced and I still miss. What my old one didn't have was the incredible storage capability of the ScottEVest. I would use it to store my Zune and headphones, my cellphone, pens, wallet and keys (which I don't like putting in my back pocket anyway). I would wear it almost everywhere. If I wear it while going for a walk, the very convenient water bottle pocket would be fantastic. I don't usually wear my sunglasses because I'm not sure where they are. This would give me a secure place to leave them…and be able to wear them more often. In short, this would really become my primary jacket, only replaced on days where I needed something warmer. With layering, hopefully not!

  7. Ktdata says:

As a student I'd have tons of this in this. I would have it wired with my ER6i headphones connected to my Zune and ear pieces for the iphone. I'm always on the go so I would have my power cord for both my tablet PC and Mac book pro. The pockets also would leave room for a water bottle and snacks because I usually have little time to sit down and have lunch. I also do karaoke shows and it would be really helpful for all those extra cables and little things that are small enough to fit in a pocket but not big enough where it can be easily lost.

  8. Brian Allen says:

I would do everything but the kitchen sink (unless it fits) in a this Jacket! Right now it is cold here in Fresno and I have been looking for a new jacket that can hold all my electronics!

  9. dino says:

I would cloak myself in this jacket to keep me warm and toasty in the Great Northeast. Second, my MT3G would find a readily accessible and protective pouch to store this great personal communicator in. Lastly, my Zune HD would find cozy home in one of the 19 pockets for protection and proper use. I would route my new Klipsch headphones all up in the PAN for easy access to my tunes. Other than that the standard moneyclip, ID tag and some snacks would consume of few of the other pockets. If a long day is ahead, the Solio solar pack would sneak in for gadget juice backup. Bottom line…. I need this, my geek wardrobe needs some fresh gear.

  10. Ronald says:

19 pockets woul be a delightful way for me to ditch the exess backage I have to carry in order to accomodate my “stuff”, mobile phones USB cables, headphones, glucometer yada yada yada. There is a need.

  11. brh03 says:

Let's see: first I would wire my headphones into the PAN. Then my left arm, then my right arm, then shoulders and I am in. Next would my iPhone, car keys, wallet, Burts Bees chapstick, change, and work keys with external web access keyfob attached to the keyholder. I HATE things in my pants pockets so the SeV softshell jacket would make my life easier. Next, I have a toddler in diapers so inside the giant storage pockets would go spare diapers, wetwipes, diaper rash cream, baby lotion, and antibacterial soap. We take a lot of pictures so I would have to put my sony cybershot digital camera, and and extra memory stick. I was somewhat jealous that a Xavier was able to carry his HP Envy 13 in a pocket, so I would probably at least attempt to carry my 13″ macbook with me sometimes. I think that my drivers license might just have a permanent place in the id holder as well, this way I will always no where it is at. I love vitamin water so I would have to carry a bottle of that with me all the time. Gotta stay hydrated. With SCOTTeVEST it would be more of a matter of what couldn't I put in there. Great products and he has a new fan for life. Even if I do not win I will still get one of these or the fleece 5.0. Thanks!

  12. kieran says:

I would put my mobile in one of the pockets as im on it all the time, i would also put my psp in it as it would be a great place to have it, also my keys to get in so i dont have to get them out my backpack and finally i love my gadets and this would make it so much easier to acess them.
    Thanks

  13. karenmed409 says:

I would put a flashlight, cell phone, Ipod, keys, wallet, chap stick, spare hand and feet warmers, extra gloves, hat, lots of chocolate stuffed inside those 19 pockets to wear on overnight winter survival campouts with our scouts. An Igloo gets mighty cold for us old gals and I need all the accessories I can carry.

  14. Joshua M says:

I would use this myself as a day to day jacket especially when on campus to hold my equipment. I would put my Blackberry, little Moleskine, Surefire flashlight, Sansa Clip mp3 player, digital camera once I get one, pocket knife, and anything else I happen to pickup and need to take with me.

  15. Rhys Mood says:

I would use it for traveling to College, It would be fantastic because I would wait till the end of the lesson and for the teacher to ask for coursework. I would then spend around about 4 hours emptying each and every pocket in front of him. Eventually he would get sick of it and let me off with the coursework having being handed in, Thats when I pull out my macbook from the bottom left and pocket and actually do the homework!

  16. khscottieboy says:

I am always looking for a way to carry my gadgets with me, so a scottevest is exactly what I need. In my scottevest, I would put my 3rd generation 8gb iPod touch, my PSP 2000 gaming system, my cannon digital camera, my blackberry tour, and my nintendo ds gaming system. I would use my scottevest any time I could, I am pretty much always wearing a jacket anyway. Scottevest has that perfect semi-formal look that I acquire in a jacket.

  17. donjjcarroll says:

One of the most useful utility pockets I have is on a North Face jacket. It is a pocket with a zipper on the left arm, upper shoulder, that holds a cell phone. It's easy to hear the phone ring, centrally located to reach, plus, a FAST zipper to access. A million dollar idea! I cant ask for more in a jacket.

    Don J C

  18. Drew says:

Well, I'm always on the go and need to carry my phone, wallet, keys, and sunglasses with me wherever I am headed. After I discovered SeV, I started carrying things around that I've needed here and there. A mini tape measure is a good idea, especially since I've just moved and am still shopping for furniture, a TV, and an entertainment center for the living room. I also like to keep a tide pen on me because I always seem to spill coffee on myself at work when I've got a busy day. Business cards are also a must because you never know when you'll meet someone you want to connect with. A camera is always good to have but I'll be carrying my flip video camera as well now that I've started a daily video blog of 2010 and I'm never sure when I'll be inspired to make a post.

That leaves me with ten more pockets (assuming I haven't double-dipped). Suppose I'll carry a moleskine writing pad with all of my notes and engineering drawings, a pocketknife, mini flashlight, deck of cards, some snacks, and maybe a magazine or two. If I had a netbook, that would be a must, but seeing as “there's a pocket for that,” I'd like to get one. I'll leave a couple pockets empty since I'm headed to the grocery store to pick up a few small things.

  19. doreenwrks says:

I've never seen a jacket with sooo many pockets, very cool! I'd put in it my cell phone, keys, flip video camera, gloves, gum, Burts Bees chapstick and bottled water.

  20. bsgillis says:

The first thing I would have to put in is my headphones in the PAN, followed by some gum, a pen or two, a notepad, and business cards. Those are must haves for any SeV clothing. Then I would throw in my wallet, keys, iPod, camera, memory sticks, cash, and Blackberry. On my way out the door I would grab a bottle of water, a snack, my netbook, and a textbook in case I end up waiting somewhere. The last thing I would put in it is myself as I walk out the door knowing that when I go through security at the airport all I have to do is take out my netbook and put in on the conveyor along with my jacket and walk through the metal detector after wrestling with my shoes. It always takes longer to mess with my shoes at the airport than it does with the two dozen or so things in my SCOTTEVEST. I never leave the house without it.

  21. christopher h says:

phone, keys, psp. This would be great for school, with the extra pockets, i have space to carry a flask now.

  22. Ron says:

I'm in Florida and boy, could I use this jacket!! I'd put gloves and a hat in it so I could be prepared for the cold. Never expected this kind of cold here and wasn't prepared for it. Then maybe I could go on my daily jog without freezing . . .

  23. sandy says:

son, he could have his phone and others insead of stuffed in pockets

  24. davisesq212 says:

I would give this jacket to my brother. My brother is a ornithologist and is out in the very early morning doing research on/for birds. He also sometimes goes out on barges and helicopters so he is always needing a warm jacket. He would take his field books, note pad, binoculars and pen as well as some protein bars to snack on and put them in all in his jacket!

  25. sharonjo says:

I would put a knit cap in one pocket and gloves in the other pocket! Then I would be ready to walk with my Mom for exercise all winter long! Great giveaway! Thanks! senekers@comcast.net

  26. Kathy Simpson says:

I would use this mainly for travel since it has so many pockets that could be used seurely. One pockey would hold a small travel guide/map, another could hold my ipod filled with travel info and audio guides. The soft shell would be nicely quiet (no annoying nylon rustling noise as you walk around in quiet naves). Even before I get to my destination, this jacket would be oh so handy when traveling through airport security as I could put many electronic goodies (digital camera, iTouch, etc.) that are never checked through into one handy garment easily put on and off. To top off all that convenience, having waterproof/windproof features makes this type of jacket my top choice for traveling back-country roads, particulary for early morning walks.

  27. scott says:

let's see.. Id put my gloves, wallet, 3GS, headphones, keys and my sunglasses. Occasionally there would be a flashlight, pepper spray and an old skool gerber multi-tool hiding away. When I goto the movies Id have a 5th Avenue candy bar (or two) and some Diet Dr. Pepper on board to smuggle in. :)

  28. jlafount says:

Ipod Touch in one pocket. LG 290C cell phone in another. Nintendo DS Lite also when I'm out of the house for awhile

  29. judybradley says:

I am a walker and hate big bulky coats. I walk for health reasons and a nice, soft jacket that is warm would be so nice for when I am visiting my kids who live up in the deep freeze north! With the wonderful pockets to carry id, keys, phone, water bottle, and kleeniex, I wouldn't have to carry a purse either and I would have room for the rocks, sticks, and shells my accompanying grandchildren pick up!

  30. Aisling says:

This would be great for my granddaughter since she's always walking somewhere on campus and sometimes back to her dorm after dark. So she'd be able to carry her pens, water bottle, phone, lipstick, camera, sunglasses, flashlight, iPod and wallet at a minimum. Very nice!

  31. Stephanie V. says:

gloves, lip gloss, tissues, keys and small wallet (and even some snacks for the wee ones)

  32. tamiwinbush says:

I'd be in the jacket, along with my iPhone, my car keys, my gloves because it's -9 degrees in upstate NY right now. I would then make sure that I had my arthritis meds (I know only 35, but I got it) and my Tiger balm. I would also make sure that I had my Mophie Juice Pack Air and the cord in case I happen to be out too long and I loose too much battery charge while I am out. I would need some money so I could stop at McDonald's for a Sweet Tea, a Double Cheese Burger with Extra Pickle and a couple of chocolate chip cookies. I think I would stop there because I wouldn't want to look too much like the Stay Puffed Marshmallow Lady!

  33. strangedaze says:

I would wear this jacket everywhere as I love SCOTTEVEST clothing and I really would love a warm jacket. It's brutally cold in Boston. I would use it while walking or hiking and carry my iPod touch and headphones, my LG slimphone, my Schmincke watercolors and travel brush and a small pad for sketching. I would also carry my keys, my ID, my wallet, a beanie folded up, extra gloves, an ELF camera. I would also carry an elf for company but I don't think they truly exist and Will Ferrell was much too big and is kind of annoying.

I would also carry my pocket Flipcam and some really tasty gum like Stride. Always need pens so I would carry a few along with some note paper and a small post-it package. Never know when you need to write something down or leave a message. Expect the unexpected.

I would carry an LED flashlight on my keyring and also make sure I had a credit card for emergencies.
If I were traveling in Europe, as I am longing to go back to there, I would also carry my passport so it would be safe or if I was thinking of leaving the country on a whim ;-) . You never know.

I would need a waterbottle also and an extra memory card. I would also carry extra paintbrushes. I am a packrat, this would be perfect for lip balm and a small tube of handcream, a thermacare patch for soreness. Let's not forget sunglasses for the reflection off of the bright snow! I would also bring a Swiss Army knife. One time traveling we used it to cut a fresh cantaloupe. It was delicious!

  34. strangedaze says:

Forgot to add I am @MissingLynxx on Twitter :)

  35. Scott says:

After I removed all the hidden pocket cards, I would wire up my Sennheiser IE7 IEM (in ear monitors) with Ipod touch in one of the clear touch pockets. I'd add my Palm Pre, a bottle of water, my keys, my wallet, gloves, digital camera, pens, power supply for my laptop, and probably some snacks. Maybe not all at the same time, but hey I could.

Living in Wisconsin, I'll have at least 4-6 months of use out of this jacket every year. From sneaking food into the movie theater… to inner tubing down the big snow hills… to just going to class, I'll be prepared for anything.

  36. bleubug says:

It's pretty obvious what I'd put in this jacket. Phone, iPod, pens, notepads, extra batteries, various USB cables, charging cables, etc. Endless amounts of junk. I'd wear it everywhere probably.

  37. AZcomm says:

Having just returned home from CES, I can tell you that this 19-pocket jacket would have come in exceptionally handy over the past couple of days. For one thing, the afternoon trips riding shotgun on the Central-to-South Hall golf cart shuttle were just a little bit chilly!

As for the pockets, here's some stuff I could easily find room for in your versatile jacket at next year's show:

    1. BlackBerry

    2. Charger cord

    3. The Energizer battery BlackBerry portable charger thingies I was given by their kind representatives right after picking up my badge holder.

    4. Water bottle (a must to avoid dehydration whilst geeking out at CES for nine straight hours

    5. Facial tissue (I'd say the “K-word,” but they hate it when you don't tag a “TM” after it…)

    6. Car keys

    7. Granola bars (on-the-go sustenance in the big LVCC halls)

    8. My wallet (preventing pickpocketers from back jeans pocket access)

    9. Business cards for booth contest entries

    10. Business cards from cool people I meet

    11. Brochures about the best new gadgets

    12. Lip Balm (I could say “Ch _ p St _ ck,” but reference No. 5 above for the reason I don't….

    13. Hand sanitizer (even though lots of booths thoughtfully provided it this year)

    14. Mini-swag from booths (you, know — more lip balm, hand sanitizer and

    15. Woot! Flying Monkey (“Is that a Woot! Monkey in your jacket pocket, or… ?”) Sure hope the fun Woot! folks bring those again next year! If only I could have found a spot in the “Fling Your Monkey to the LVCC Rafters” competition and won a B.O.C.! Let's hope having the monkey in my pocket helps my cause next year….

    16. Mini camcorder

    17. Digital camera (this and the item immediately above for capturing images of all the cool stuff and events, peeps, etc.)

    18. A pen (or 2, in case one runs out of ink — hate when that happens)

    19. Comb

There — I think that about covers it… and the new jacket would be great for covering me! Thanks for the chance to return to CES in style next year (if I win)!

I would carry my phone (and charger), ipod (and charger), camera, keys, wallet, cash, makeup, magazines, snacks, and, if I had one, a netbook. I would wear this awesome jacket on trips to visit my family. I never have enough room for all of my stuff and this would give me more room for shoes in my bag that I pawn off on my husband to carry :)

  40. chosenhim says:

Here in NJ it gets cold and I love to layer! And I like to have all my girlie stuff and gadgets on my body with me. Girly geeks carry different things ya know, especially 46yo ones, so this is my list: bible, cell phone, drivers license, debit card, gloves, tampon in case of emergency (hush you're mature geeks now boyz), Blistex tube, lipgloss, tissuepak, altominis, almonds, water, my other set of keys (don't ask I'm sort of neurotic), lighter (for lighing fires not for smoking, which I don't), itty-bitty flashlight, small bottle of Motrin with a single Valium tucked inside in case I get lost overnight, and if one Pomerian or maybe both would fit, I would consider stuffing them into a pocket too…..no kids or the geek husband though…although if I get lost overnight they would make for good company. Peace.

  41. Andrew says:

I'd use it for everyday wear. I'd carry my Zune, and headphones, my Vado, a Swiss Army knife, a flash drive or two, a plastic shopping bag in case I end up having to carry a lot, and if it fits, my Kindle. When it's likely to rain, I'd also carry my compact umbrella.

  42. Timbo says:

-When I finally finish my training to become a psychologist, I'll keep my hypnosis watch in my right breast pocket and my billing slips in my left breast pocket.
-If I don't actually become a psychologist, I'll fill each of the internal pockets up with imitation Rolexes and flip it open on street corners.
-When I visit the Children's Hospital, I'll wear a shirt with lollipops taped to them and flip open the jacket.
-On Halloween, I'll wear nothing and flip open the jacket.

You may call my brilliant now.

  43. donnak4 says:

I would put me and my wallet in it. It would be great for these cold winter days.

  44. junsz says:

It looks fantastic, most people could never look this good in this Jacket give the guy some credit for being cool. I mean really you guys voted for him!!!

  45. junsz says:

i have that Jacket , its actually pretty cool and really warm.

  46. I would put in this jacket : my keys, cell phone, netbook (7 inches) if it fits, wallet, gps, camera, flip mini, a couple of usb flash drives, pack of gum, pocket usb hard drive, an ubuntu linux CD, some duck tape (because you never know when you will need some!)

Ho no, only 12 pockets used! I don't have enough electronic gadgets to fill all 19 pockets!

  47. Mark Embrey says:

At scottevest there is a pocket for everything and Scott has the labeled. I know the soft shell jacket inside and out. In the right hand warmer pocket I would only put some change in the corner p-i-p. I like to keep the hand warmer pockets pretty empty. On the left I would zip the compartment in the pocket and put mentos and maybe a pocket knife. In the side seam pockets I would keep my wallet and maybe a purell. On the Inside:
Ill start with the pub pocket I would put a reader's digest. In the travel documents pocket I would put anything that needs to be secure like money or a passport. In the ID pocket I would put my ID and some business cards. On the left Clear touch pocket I would put my touch screen cellphone. (I can access it right through the fabric) In the bottom left pocket I would put my digital camera. In the small pocket in that pocket I would put a spare memory card. In the pocket above that I would put my sunglasses. (I would keep a microfiber, but Scott happily supplies that for me) In the clear touch pocket above that I would keep my ipod touch and run the wires through the PANN (Patented Personal Area Network). In the pen pockets I would keep… well you guys can figure that one out. I am the worthy one to win this because I know every scottevest product Inside and Out. Test me… I dare you.

  48. Kylie Larsson says:

I'd put my cell phone and wallet in it, among all the other misc. things women carry around that we end up not needing. I'm moving to Sweden in March, so this would definitely come in handy. Being that it's cold the majority of the year there, I'd use it pretty much year round.

  49. mattb5 says:

I'd throw my Verizon Palm Centro in there. That goes with me everywhere. And probably put my Zune somewhere. It's been pretty cold here in the Northeast. This would be a nice jacket to keep me warm, let me carry my stuff and be able to move.

  50. ianbullock says:

I WOULD GIVE THIS TO MY SON AND HE COULD PUT WHATEVER HE WANTS INTO IT

  57. buttmuffin says:

Well I would use this for walking around. I'd put my keys, my ipod, my blackberry, LIP BALM (can't live without that), a flashlight, some gummy bears, a peppermint patty, blow pops, water bottle. I am laughing at MCJunkies comment below, about stuffing 2 kittens inside for added warmth. I wish I'd thought of that. I do like to juggle kittens in my spare time, so I usually have 3 of them lying around at all times. But since she thought of it first, I will just stuff my puppies in there. I hope this coat will contain them they are quite large. ROFL

It's freezing here in New Jersey, so I'd use the SeV Soft Shell Jacket to stay warm and snug while I'm outside building snowmen with my 18-month-old little boy. Except he doesn't like to build snowmen – he likes to DESTROY them. He stomps through them like a little Godzilla.

  60. Erin Walsh says:

It wouldn't be for me, but for my sixteen year old. And knowing him, the things that he would be most likely to carry are his iPod Touch, cell phone, car keys, and chap stick.

And he would most likely wear it when he was out and about with his friends. He drives me crazy, because he all but refuses to wear a normal coat, because he finds them constrictive. And then he goes out with friends and even hangs out, outside in our cold midwest winters. Although he'll layer a few t-shirt, seatshirt and hoodie type things, I hate thinking about him being out like that. This might be the perfect answer.

Thanks for the chance to win!

What would I put in my SeV soft Shell Jacket?

I'd put my entire lifeline! I can't believe how addicted I've been to staying connected at all times. Soooo much that I have THREE convergence devices 1) my iPhone 3GS – that seems to be attached to my hip, I'm always on it and it's grown to be on of my absolute favorite toys. 2) My Tmobile MyTouch, It's nifty, lots of spiffy apps I use it mainly as a portable router for my laptop. 3) My Blackberry I carry this for work purposes. 4) My kindle I love to read, the kindle has proven to be a really great device to carry around especially since some of my books can weigh a ton! My Nintendo DS it's great to hand to rowdy kids and impatient boyfriends when I'm shopping heeheehee 5) My USB cables for various devices 6) My Canon camera cos you never know when you need to snap a photo 7) && My Flip Cam :)

Those are just the key tech items that I need to keep safe! I've also got my chapstick, make up, antibacterial, and chocolate that I MUST have with me at all times :) I can go on and on and on…

oh wait yeah can I git my MacBook in there somehow? & the kitchen sink? some breathmints and my lunchables too? hehe

    I love pockets :)

I would start by putting my iPod and Blackberry phone in two of the pockets, a set of bluetooth earpieces in one pocket, a digital camera in one pocket, a binocular in one pocket, a compass in one pocket, a handheld GPS in one pocket, a small flashlight and batteries in one pocket, a walkie talkie in one pocket, a small utility knife in one pocket, lip balms in one pocket, emergency medications in one pocket, a pair of gloves in two pockets (one glove in each), a pair of sunglasses in one pocket, snack bars in one pocket, a bottle of water in one pocket, a handkerchief in one pocket, and hand warmers in the *last* pocket. I would use it for skiing at Squaw Valley near Lake Tahoe!

It'd be super-handy down here in New Zealand… it's supposedly summer, but it's felt like late autumn or early winter!

I'd use it to carry my Android Dev Phone 1, keys (car/house/work/etc), spare cellphone battery, USB cables, flash drive, headphone adapter for the phone, tissues, mentos, duct tape and/or electrical tape, wallet, notebook, pen, multi-tool (screwdrivers/pliers/cutters) and the glasses cloth that comes with it (super-handy since I wear glasses – it'd be great to have one available at all times) – plus probably a few other bits and pieces.

  77. donaldh says:

I would carry all my usual stuff in this great jacket, keys, wallet, phone, etc, but most important is I would stay warm while doing it!

  78. anthkris says:

I can see myself out walking in that jacket. It looks perfect for holding my essentials (mp3 player, cellphone, keys, etc) securely.

Wearing my new SeV Soft Shell Jacket makes the outdoors a pleasure, with its three layers of breathable, waterproof/windproof fabric, I can travel in comfort and warmth in any weather.
Using its 19 purposeful pockets I am able to carry my keys (using the key holder pocket), wallet (using the deep pockets), memory cards (using the mymemory pocket), Documents ( using the pubpocket), Pens (using the pen/stylus pocket), glasses (using the versatile clip), Drink (using the Bottle Holder) and iphone and still have space for the kitchen sink without even so much as a bulge!
Using the Patented Personal Area Network (PAN) I am able to use my iphone to listen to media with ease making use of the jackets internal wire management.
When using my touch screen during travel the SeV Soft Shell Jackets innovation makes this possible to do whilst still in my pocket with its clear touch fabric.
All in all, the SeV Soft Shell Jacket has catered for everything!

I'd put my iPod in it so I could be entertained while shoveling snow.

  81. kowgirlsrule says:

I would use it to wear to outside functions. I love to go to outdoor functions but I hate carrying a pocketbook or anything in my hands. I would be able to carry my ipod, my cell phone, my wallet, credit cards and id.

  82. Erik says:

I plan on using the jacket at my son's volleyball tournaments. It's cold in the gyms in the northeast in the winter. For me it would be my touch pro, a2dp headset, headphones for when the batteries die, and wallet. While he is playing I hold his phone, ipod touch, his bluetooth headset, and wallet. The more pockets the better. I wanted this jacket for Christmas, but I think Santa swiped it for himself.

  83. happishopr says:

I would put my ipod, cell, flashlight, id, keys, doggy treats and a power bar for me while the fur-kids and I go for a hike.

I would give this to my teenaged son, and he would use it for two things. One, he would use it while snowboarding, I am sure. Lightening up the bulk but still being able to keep warm are important to him. And two, he would use it on our trip to Europe in April because baby, it's going to be chilly but there's no way we're missing the sites because of cold weather.

  88. susiewie says:

I'd put in my cell phone and keys. I'd use the jacket when going for a run. Thanks!

  89. Nancy says:

First I would put myself in it, then I would add my iPod shuffle and my cell phone, next would come the snacks and then I would head for the trail to so some hiking. Seeing how the jacket is breathable, windproof and waterproof, I should be set no matter what the weather and I can bop down the trail listening to my tunes.

  90. ferriz says:

My Dad would LOVE this. He is always on the go, normally riding his motorcycle. He always complains on how he is afraid of losing things, like his phone or camera (or ipod, even though he shouldnt use that while riding! Bad dad!) when he goes on his rides. Plus it gets cold on a bike or up in the mountains. If he had this maybe he would carry his phone so he gets my texts to bring home dinner. See, this would benefit me too. ;)

  91. Reeve says:

    Hey!

Well I travel a lot, either by bike or using Public transport. At any point of time i carry a knapsack which holds all my gadgets. The list includes a Viliv S5 MID, Zune, HTC TyTn II, SE w350i, a digital camera and of course loads of memory cords, space batteries as well as headphones, a wallet and keys. phew! And if I am travelling on a bike, then you can include a couple of maps as well as a leatherman as backup!

This Scottevest will be a saving grace for me!

  92. Well this awesome jacket would definitely be for my husband and he would wear it to work where he sells industrial parts. He would have his phone inside and also his keys with his multi tool :D I bet he might also carry his portable mouse, the possibilities are endless!

  93. John Ezovski says:

I'd put my GPS in it so I ddn't get myself lost; I'd put a roll of Tums in so I didn't get indigestion from the awful good I take along camping with me; and I'd put a rain poncho in cause it always rains when I go hiking/camping.

  94. jengersch says:

I would put a maglight in it and use it to go to work and walk my dog's at night (hence the maglight)/. Since it's also for winter sports, I would use those featurs that are on the jacket. Wow and you can see devices thorugh it, maybe I would take my cell phone in it too!

I have always had bags that would fit all the necessary “tech” items that is essential to always be with me. Travelling internationally on a monthly basis, that same bag goes through rigorous security checks because of all the “gadgetry” items that would be dedicated to it.

Now…with the softshell Jacket, I would definitely leverage carrying my iPhone on the left inside pocket and my touch on the right inside pocket. Sorry to say but I do carry both my iTouch and iPhone separately because of not having to run up my battery on the iPhone. Nevertheless, this jacket will provide both housing for both of these items.

Secondly, whenever travelling, running from gate to gate, or packing and stowing away my headphones or having it dangle and tangle when trying to get my luggages (check-in/baggage claim), the PAN wire network solves that problem. No need to store away my headset and no loose “dangle and tangle” scenarios.

Third, I carry a Passport/document “around the neck” holder for ease of check-in and access to passport/document. Obvously the passport holder in the left inside pocket would solve for this! Oh, a pen slot is usually used as well on the passport holder, this jacket also has a pen holder!

Fourth, Flip Mino, Canon G9 would take up the additional pockets. My Oakley sunglasses would accompany the sunglasses pocket.

Fifth, my nook would then take the largest inside pocket.

    Talk about a backpack jacket!
