can some one please post for what is this laptop good for and what would you recommend this be used for?
This eMachines notebook is fine for basic tasks at home. I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to work a lot with multimedia or play video games. It's also limited in terms of mobility.
The build quality of this notebook isn't as good as more expensive notebooks at Walmart and elsewhere.
Hello,
is this emachine good for going on line? seems cheap and i know you might have problems with video. first time user computer?
Did the Wal-Mart thing and it was a ploy to lure people in. 11 laptops for thousands of shoppers. Deception and legal thievery.

Thats not the way walmart does business Stan. They will twist the arms of their suppliers, venders to get the pricing and quanties of products want. Deception and thievery is not a business model that allows for walmart sized growth.
Jim that’s not true. Our Walmart allowed people to line up all around the store for that item and then pulled out a pallet with 19 computers on it at 4:45am. One lady had been in line for 3 hrs and was so angry that she ended up assaulting the employee that pulled the items out. Police and an ambulance were called. Why allow all those people to line up if you know you have less than 20 to sell?
