Black Friday:HP G71-329WM Laptop for $398 at Walmart
Walmart will be selling the HP G71-329WM laptop for $398 on Black Friday. This is an affordable entertainment PC with a 17″ display. The large display is very nice if you plan on watching movies or enjoying other multimedia content on your laptop. It is much larger than most laptops, which means it’s not very mobile. If you’re looking for something to bring to school or work you should look at a PC that has a 15″ or smaller display.
The G71-329WM is a Walmart-only configuration of the HP G71 series notebook PC. You will not find this exact model at other retailers, but you can compare it to other models that start with “G71-3.”The G71-329WM comes with Window 7 Home Premium, a 2.2GHz Intel Celeron 900 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive and LightScribe SuperMulti DVD-R/RW.

update: More details about the G71-329WM are now available. The G71-329WM comes with a Celeron processor, which is quite slow by today’s standards. It also does not have a webcam, something that is standard on most netbooks and notebooks.

I can't be Celeron Processor as it is coming with pre-installed 64 bit OS. Probably you are looking into wrong ad. Please see the page 31 for this ad in walmart's ad scan. You can download it from here : http://bfads.net/Adscans.
Thanks for the reply. As you suggested, I went to page 31 and it shows the computer right next to an Intel Celeron emblem.

The CPU in the walmart computer is a Celeron 900 – 2.20Ghz… it will run the windows 7 as a 64 bit OS… but as you might guess it is not a dual core chip and you can expect some serious slow downs if you start trying to multi-task on this machine.
Frankly I would have to suggest all but the casual users pass on this machine… then again if you are a casual user you don't need to pay this much for a machine for internet and light office apps either…. Of course I live in Oklahoma so our laws wont allow for this machine to be sold at this price anyways, walmarts here sold the last 298 computer walmart advertised for 388 here (not a good deal at all).

It is true that the ad scan shows intel celeron CPU. The ad scan doesn't show a web cam as well. However, all reviews indicate that is has intel duo 2 core processor as well as a web cam. How can this be confirmed?
