Acer Aspire AS5738PG is Acer’s Multitouch Notebook
Acer just announced the Aspire AS5738PG, their first multi-touch notebook, that will ship with Windows 7 on October 22nd. Unlike many mobile PCs that sport a touchscreen the Aspire AS5738PG doesn’t fold flat like a tablet, opting for a conventional laptop configuration. This doesn’t take away from the ability to use the touchscreen; it just changes the focus of touch technology from that of a tablet.

New Images of the Dell Adamo XPS Reveal Connections
When we first got a look at Dell’s 9.99mm thick concept notebook, the Adamo XPS, it was so thin and light that Xavier wondered if Dell would actually sell the concept notebook.

A Look at the Windows 7 Editions
If you have decided to upgrade to Windows 7, you have one other thing to to do, choose an edition. This will depend on a number of factors, whether you are doing a clean install, upgrading from a previous version of Windows, or you have multiple PC’s in your home. Microsoft has made choosing an edition of Windows 7 a little easier in comparison to Windows Vista. Instead of 6 editions, you will now see 3 editions in mainstream markets. Review of Phoenix FailSafe: Track Down Lost Laptops and Data
Losing your laptop can be a huge pain. Not only are you out the cost of your laptop but you may have lost confidential documents or a term paper that hasn’t yet been backed up. There are several programs and services that let you track down your laptop and even work with law enforcement to help recover a stolen laptop.
Phoenix Technologies, notably known for making Bios software, has a new service call FailSafe that helps you track the last place your laptop connected to the internet, retrieve or delete files and even disable the computer completely.
