I was able to stream my slingbox to this laptop and still install software, remove software, download updates and navigate all at the same time with little or no lag. This machine is a beast no matter what negative comments are said about it. the 720p display is 100% better than a VGA and I can especially enjoy watching movies and tv without having to hook up an external amplified speaker system to it. This means less I have to carry with me. There are some who don't like the USB ports on the right front, but there is also one on the front left, it is a combination port for USB and ESATA. This is for the true multitasker, even more so if you enjoy performing a lot of multimedia tasks. Just about everything is instantaneous. My internet fly's too since I have FiOS.
