That's strange - I'm an IT student at a tech college in Wisconsin and my whole class has had Windows 7 since September. Many of us even used the RC since it came out. We all got it free through the MSDNAA and two of our labs have had Windows 7 Ultimate since the semester started. As for the rest of the campus - I haven't heard of other students aquiring it yet. And "Windows 7 Day" was just another day for our IT class.

Its actually strange that Microsoft doesnt do a more pro-active job at promoting its Student Offers.

Go to http://www.microsoft.com/student/discounts/theultimatesteal-us/default.aspx

For $60 Office Ultimate or $30 Windows 7 Pro.

definately a reasonable price.
