Fujitsu’s added a multi-touch display to its LifeBook T5010 convertible tablet PC. The optional 13.3″ touchscreen display can recognize two fingers at a time and allows users to control the computer without using a while in slate mode. Also new to the LifeBook T5010 is an optional built-in 3G modem.

Fujitsu promises the new improvements will make it significantly easier for users to perform basic functions on their PCs with two fingers. The machine is currently available with Vista but seems more oriented towards Windows 7, which includes native multi-touch support.

The Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 tablet starts at $1,759. The multi-touch display is a $100 upgrade which means you’ll need to spend $1,859 or more if you want multi-touch.
