The 3 cell does not stick out. Anyways i went to <a href="http://dell.com" rel="nofollow">dell.com</a> and the 10v is no longer available. I got mine for $150. Only thing i regret is not upgrading the battery nor the wireless to wireless N because I wasnt sure if the machack would work. But everything works except sleep mode. It looks really bad that what they did with the battery.
