I've been using PC's since the first 4.7Mhz clone. I've grown with Windows and it WAS great.... .... and also PC World FAN....

Now that I'm older, all I care about is saving time and being productive.... I've been the family IT guy forever which became unbearable because Windows, viruses and performance degradation over time.... and to be fair to MS, unstable HW did not help...

Over the last year, everyone I supported (over 25 users now) got converted over to Apple for a simple reason - Time - I now seldom have issues with anyone other than supporting my mother which is now 75YO... My father loves his PC, but all he does is surf the web - keeps on having wireless and printer problems :-(

Ho yah, I forgot - Snow-L family pack of 5 for 59$ Canadian is a great deal... .... just for gaining 12G of HD space on my MACAir....

The point remains that it's a tech upgrade and amazing value for money. If you're a professional 64 bit support, microsoft exchange and stability and speed tweaks that seem to have are worth 25 peanuts/dubloons/Euros. However if you're time is spent making jokes about Steve Jobs bell end there might be little in it for you.
