The Mac is like a home in a good neighborhood with little to no security. The PC is like a home with the best security (with metal bars in the windows) in a bad neighborhood. The PC is much harder to break in but more people try. The reality is that most PC owners don't have a problem with viruses (even if they're not running anti-virus) and if they do get them, it's because they did something they shouldn't have.
