I was just reading this site wondering if I'm even going to buy a notebook again. I have two desktops that never get used, and a notebook and a netbook. After I discovered that Photoshop runs fine, if a bit slow, on my netbook, I hardly use the notebook at all. The next computer will probably be a 10+" netbook.

I have a desktop for the simple fact that I wanted to build one - it's a very fun thing to do.

Notebooks are defiantly becoming more popular though now.

I have a Dell Dimension, bought it refurb from Dell at least 4 years ago.

Its no power house, but does everything I need.

I've added RAM I think twice, it has 1.640 GB,

I added an old second HD, something like 20 GB for backup.

I added a firewire card for my video camera.

And I think the last thing I got for it was a 19 inch widescreen LCD.

My brother gave me a illuminated picture mouse, which as mice goes, it works better than the old Dell mouse I had.

Every once in a while something seems like it is getting flakey, but I run all the clean up stuff and defrag, and it works fine again.

I have not reimaged it in probably two years, so it has a lot of extra junk on it.

I have a nice laptop at work, and I've started bringing that home more often to watch Hulu in the living room with my wife. But, mostly, I still use the old Dell.
