Gadget Stimulus Plan Day 6: Win a Logitech V550 Cordless Mouse
We’re trying to close your gadget deficit while the economy’s in the dumps with the Gadget Stimulus Plan. Today we’re giving away a Logitech V550 cordless mouse that features the Clip-and-Go dock and a tiny USB adapter that’s small enough to leave plugged into your tablet or notebook.
The Clip-and Go dock sticks to any computer and can be easily removed with an included tool.
I’ve used a Logitech V550 cordless mouse for the past couple of days and found it comfortable and easy to use. It retails for $59.99 at Logitech.com and most major retailers.

There are two ways to enter to win the Logitech V550:
1) Leave a comment on this GottaBeMobile.com article and tell us what notebook/Tablet PC accessories you carry with you.
2) Leave a comment on this article and tell us what how you prefer to point and click. Touchpad? Mouse? Eraser-head? Digitizer?
You have until Wednseday, March 23 at 8pm PDT to enter. We’ll assign every entry a number and use Random.org to randomly draw a winner.
This contest is open to anyone in the world, as long as participating in contests like this are legal in your hometown. It’s your responsibility to check local laws and regulations. Those who enter more times than allowed will be disqualified. The winner will be notified by either email (if random comment is chosen) or by an @reply on Twitter (if random tweet is chosen. He/she will have 48 hours to claim the prize and provide shipping info.

It depends on the size of the device. For something small an Erazer head is ideal if in easy reach of the thumb.

I would prefer a mouse over anything, but right now all I have is the touchpad on my laptop. When it comes to games, that’s when I really wish I had a mouse…

My favorite clickable was the pop-out mouse on the HP OmniBook … I still have my 800CT running nicely!
Other than that I prefer a Mouse, followed by a trackpad, but can do the eraser-head stick if necessary.

1)We don’t have any snazzy accesories for the HP Paviliion dv7 notebook besides the standard power cord and a full size wired mouse. The Logitech V550 Cordless Mouse would be a perfect start!
2)my DH and I prefer using a mouse, I find myself being clumsy using the touchpad, and it ends up taking me a longer time to do something that should be quick.

When not at a desk, trackpoint for the win! Trackpads are awful. When at a desk, I like to use the good old fashioned mouse for drawing and quick navigation.
I also like my tablet digitizer, but my pen is broken at the moment…

A wireless mouse is surely the perfect thing. However, I use alot the pen and the red dot/mouse on my X200T lenovo tablet pc and I find both quite effective.

I don’t like the touchpad because it takes too long to manage the applications and files, especially when you’re used with fast multi-tasking.
I prefer the mouse, especially a wireless model with long battery life, and I consider it to be the most reliable tool for controlling my computer.
One main disadvantage of not having a mouse is when you travel by car and you have to rely on the laptop’s touchpad – very annoying.

I surely prefer the mouse, but I have been accustomed easily to the eraser-head, which I feel is faster to use than the touchpad.

A wireless mouse definitely, small enough to carry but not too small to get uncomfortable.

It has to be a mouse. I use a touchpad when I have to, but I just find I can navigate faster with a mouse.

I prefer a mouse. I love laptops but I’m always reaching for a mouse.
I have one of those mouse… things (lol) with the ball at work so I don’t have to moving it around, I can just move my fingers, but I think optical mice (mouse… mouses?) are great too.

Whenever I can, I use a mouse.
I never found a touchpad or eraser head I liked.
I did not have an opportunity to try touchscreen yet – that looks promising to me. The best solution I used was a mini trackball located on the front edge of the laptop, perfectly positioned for use with either the left or right thumb (the keyboard was near the front of the laptop, no touchpad); there were right and left buttons on each side of the ball, but one could press the ball to do a left click – very comfortable, great control. Too bad laptops are too thin these days for this type of solution…
