One of the most common and annoying problem with notebooks is that the batteries wear of to fast and you have to keep them plugged in thus taking all their mobility away. There is a new generation of procell batteries that will solve part of this problem because they have a longer life and offer longer autonomy.

Usually batteries don't have more that one year warranty and that is just about how long they last. Making batteries that last three years means less batteries will be used and thrown away. We all know that they present an ecological danger but most people usually throw them in the regular dump bin as if it was no big deal.

In our modern technology-centered culture, we’ve got a serious waste problem. Some products that we use are easily recycled (curb pick up or at a recycle center), but others are not so easily disposed of. Rechargeable batteries, CDs, DVDs, and hard drives are bit more difficult to recycle in most municipalities, but there are resources to take care of those as well, just not as widely known.
