HP Magic Giveaway: $300,000 Worth of HP Computers and Accessories to Spread the Holiday Cheer
I’m really excited to announce that Notebooks.com and 49 other blogs are giving away over $300,000 worth of HP computers, accessories and software this holiday season. The HP Magic Giveaway will award 50 winners a package worth $6,000. If you win this contest you’ll have get more notebooks and gear than you’ll know what to do with.
Each winner will receive an HP Mini 1000 netbook, an HP HDX 18 entertainment notebook, an HP Pavilion dv4 notebook and an HP TouchSmart all-in-one desktop with a 25.5-inch touchscreen display. To round out the winners’ digital homes, HP’s also including a wireless all-in-one printer and an HP MediaSmart Connect, which makes it easy to view all of your digital content on your TV. They’ll also receive a copies of Kung Fu Panda, Microsoft Office 2007 and Corel VideoStudio X2.
What would you do if you won all of this gear? We hope you’d give some of it away to spread the holiday cheer. I’ve already played with most of the products included in the HP Magic Giveaway and can assure you most people would be satisfied to unwrap any one of the PCs in this giveaway.
I know this package sounds too good to be true, but I assure you that one of Notebooks.com readers will be the proud owner of all of this gear before Christmas. Each participating blog will have different entry requirements and various rules. We haven’t finalized how we’re going to give Notebooks.com’s HP Magic package away, but we will allow anyone in the world to enter. Earlier this year a reader from Australia won an HP HDX Dragon package from Notebooks.com and HP in a similar giveaway.

Thanks for answering my question Xavier. Did you take a look at your forums lately? A lot of spammers are using bots to make a lot of automated spam posts on your forums. I suggest you upgrade to the latest version of vBulletin to prevent that from happening.

I’m on my HP Pavilion a1610n right now, I’ve been hunting the black friday and cyber monday sales for HP Touchsmart (as XP isn’t going to be supported soon, I wanted a system that has Vista and that I could ‘grow’ into and not have to upgrade too soon) so this contest couldn’t be more timely as far as I’m concerned. I tried for the dragon giveaways but wasn’t a lucky winner, but I have a feeling, this is my lucky year! Would definitely share the wealth, the netbook going to my mom for sure, she loves the idea of having it in the kitchen to download recipes and try them out and loves the idea of never having to buy another cookbook, her first toward going green

I work for a sheltered workshop for the mentally retarded and developmentally disabled persons in my county. We are a top 10 employer in our county and service over 400 people Besides providing jobs, we provide self-sufficient living classes, recreation and socialization. I have seen personally the good computers can do in helping them build self-esteem and confidence. These computers and equipment (except maybe one laptop for myself) would be donated for educational purposes at the workshop.

Winning a computer could solve our problem of what to do when our current computer dies. The capacitors on the mother board are leaking because they have been getting too hot and the computer was freezing a lot. We have temporarily got it working better. We will have to find a lot of stuff around the house to sell to get enough money to buy a replacement PC.

My hubby needs a digital camera and I would love to be able to give him one for Christmas. We have two girls in college who could use laptops. My parents are in need of a computer so that they can get online and be able to keep in touch with our extended family especially now that Dad is fighting colon cancer. I love my present HP laptop zd7001 – it’s almost 5 years old and still runs great. I am ready for a new laptop, though, and my family is ready for a new desktop, and what a desktop the HP Touchsmart would be! I regularly check it out at Best Buy and hope the price would drop! And, it would be great to have a netbook to bring with me when I travel so I can check up on emails and other stuff. Whatever I can’t use I’ll donate whether to friends/family or charity. HP products have been great (we also have an approximately 6 year old all-in-one printer that is still plugging along, but it would be great to go wireless!) for us.
