I have since sold the laptop, though barely, on ebay. After the guy won it, he did research on it and wanted to cancel his bid but I had informed him I would have given him neg. feedback so he bought it. The laptop was/is garbage.. it's a budget piece of junk, basically with shoddy components probably made by children in some Asian factory. Who knows but to be on-topic here I will again say to you that no store can ever mandate a labor/service onto a product that is made by a separate manufacturer. The whole idea of this is corrupt. I would start by calling HP and verify (tape the conversation) if they did indeed authorize your store to do some work on the computer prior to selling it. It's outright silly to fathom such an idea. Sue them, I'll sign any petition at any time. Take care, sorry you have this burden to bother you.
