HP’s having a ridiculous sale on its HP Pavilion HDX 16t notebook and offering $550 in total savings.For $949 you can get a very well-equipped entertainment notebook complete with a Blu-ray player.

The HDX 16t entertainment notebook deal includes an upgrade to 3GB of RAM ($50), a free upgrade to a Blu-ray disc player ($200) and a $300 coupon (use coupon code NB5748).
The HDX 16t for $949 comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P7350 (2.0GHz) and a 250GB hard drive.
HP says this deal/coupon is only good for the first 450 takers.
One very worthwhile upgrade is the 16.-inch igh Definition HP Ultra BrightView Infinity Display, which has a resolution of 1920x1080p. It is a an extra $175, but it is a must-have if you want to take full advantage of the Blu-ray player.
