I bought this for a number of reasons, the most important of which is that it still comes with Windows XP Pro. I could go on and on about VISTA, but not here.

I bought this for my wife. As I am her tech support, I can't mess it up. HP is reliable and affordable. They package enough bells and whistles for her and the tech specs that I am comfortable with. Other than i vibration in the dvd ram drive (HP sent replacement / fixed) the laptop has been a dream.

Some say the design is not as pleasing as the other HP's, I disagree. Brushed metal, Mil spec precision design, and it doesn't get hot after hours of use, on her lap or a blanket. I highly reccomend an HP EliteBook for anyone looking to get a notebook/laptop.

Actually I loved this device because when I was in a decision to choose either Dell or HP I knew the HP is better than Dell with the respect to Dell.

EliteBook HP6930p is best at all

[...] It’s almost sad to hear Steve Jobs brag about 5-hours of battery life, while many pro-grade PC notebooks run for more than double that on a single extended battery. Stack on a secondary battery and you can push 19-hours on a single charge on a Dell Latitude, or 24-hours on an HP Elitebook. [...]
