[...] Lenovo Olympic Ads…What Were They ‘Think’ing? | notebooks.com Down in the middle is the ad he's talking about. It's a lot different than he's portraying it...and believe it or not makes a point. __________________ For Serious Listbuilders Only Free Popup Creator. Just click this link.
These ads blow! Superbowl ads don't have to be about footbal, but they are the best TV ads u see all year. Other Olympic ads were just as good as Superbowl ads. Iliked the GE one w/the Dragon; not about the Olympics, but it fit in with the Olympic/Chinese tone. ThinkPad could at least make the ad in Bejing instead of some random place.

You guys don't seem to understand that the point of the ads is not to show Lenovo's involvement with the Olympics. The point is to make the average person want their laptops. Do all Superbowl ads have to do with the Superbowl? I don't think Lenovo is that "involved" with the games-they're just a sponsor. I mean, being an Olympic sponsor kind of speaks for itself..I don't think that the ad needs to be all about how hard Lenovo worked or how much they love the Olympics. It should be about the product and that's it.
