It really depends on exactly what you're looking for though. Some of the really high-end manufacturers don't do a ton of discounting since each system is custom built and it's not like they need to clear out a bunch of $4000 notebooks that are already built. Another interesting thing about Montevina software is that more mainstream notebooks will be able to run 3d video games. They obviously won't perform as well as high performance gaming laptops, but a lot of the games will at least be playable on notebooks with integrated graphics. I haven't played any games on Montevina machines yet, but the AMD Puma notebooks I played with handled video games much better than previous generations. This will definitely change prices and specs of high performance gaming laptops.
