I got a dv9500t 17″ desktop replacement with a Core 2 Duo processor (We’re not gamers, so I stayed with the base chip) upgraded to 2GB RAM and dual 120GB HD’s, for $840. Seems unlikely I could have beaten that, even later in the holiday sales season. Nevertheless, I’m gonna stop looking at ads, since I hate seeing a better deal weeks after a major purchase.
