Ha ha.

This article was published in 2007. Here we are in 2009 and Apple has yet to produce a 'touchbook' or whatever.

btw: Off topic comment...

Every time a product fails to launch on time it is dubbed 'vaporware'.

The term 'vaporware' applies primarily to Micros**t which announces hardware or software that directly competes with some existing hardware or software made by company 'X'. (where X = Micros**t competitor)

The sheep dutifully wait for the announced product to come to market and thus delay purchase of X's hardware or software in the hopes that Micros**t's product is cheaper/better.

This irrevocably harms company X, Micros**t fails (or is months late) to produce the promised product and goes in for the kill, buying X outright or simply undercutting them and paying off its executives.

Almost all of Micros**t strategy over the past 20 years has been to copy and destroy, not create and innovate.

The best theory as to why this is a very likely possibility is because Apple just upped the new unibody 13" Macbook and are now calling it a Macbook Pro.. So now the 13, 15, and 17 "MacBooks" are strictly known as "MacBook Pros".. This means, that when the OLD MacBook 13 inch and the old black/white MacBooks sell out, there will no longer be a "MacBook" for purchase through Apple. The point is, Apple prides themselves in their names so it would be absurd to let the name "MacBook" go without revolutionizing it. And thus, it is very likely that Apple will preserve this name by introducing the "MacBook Touch" to take the Macbook name.
