Vincent -Don’t know where you live, but you’re probably too late if you aren’t there already. I just stopped by my Best Buy and there were at least 200 people in line already.

Hello im getting the compaq Presario C717NR. The cheap one 299. And its thursday. and im going to my grandmas on friday. So unless i convince my mother to take me there between 5 am and 11. am. then im screwed. It also says that its suppose to be online to buy. but its not. so i dont know what to do. It say online only in store. So i hope i can get this. Good guide and if i get it i plan to upgrade to 2 gig ram. or ill just install xp pro.

Thanks for the tips, I was actually looking to buy a laptop and wasn’t sure what to look for. There is no way I am getting in those stores at 5am and going through the madness with my 2 year old. I would rather shop online.
