New MacBooks Updated to Santa Rosa Platform
Apple updated its Macbook notebook series, which features Intel’s Santa Rosa platform. The new MacBooks come with Intel GMA X3100 graphics and either a 2.0GHz or 2.2GHz processor.
Three MacBook models are available through Apple stores and retailers. The 2.0GHz Macbook costs $1,099 and comes with an 80GB hard drive, 1GB of memory and a DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive. For $1,299 you can get a 2.2 GHz processor, 120GB hard drive, 1 GB of memory and a SuperDrive (DVD burner). The black 2.2GHz MacBook is $1,499 and comes with a 160GB hard drive.
