New MacBooks Updated to Santa Rosa Platform

MacBook Apple updated its Macbook notebook series, which features Intel’s Santa Rosa platform. The new MacBooks come with Intel GMA X3100 graphics and either a 2.0GHz or 2.2GHz processor.

Three MacBook models are available through Apple stores and retailers. The 2.0GHz Macbook costs $1,099 and comes with an 80GB hard drive, 1GB of memory and a DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive. For $1,299 you can get a 2.2 GHz processor, 120GB hard drive, 1 GB of memory and a SuperDrive (DVD burner). The black 2.2GHz MacBook is $1,499 and comes with a 160GB hard drive.
