Apple's website only has an "i'll call Apple later" option, which I CAN'T DO IF THE PHONE SCREEN IS BLANK! AT&T's website has chat till 11PM. Saved, right? WRONG! "All chat personnel are currently busy." Translation: we are cheap and only hired 2 people to chat with customers. After hitting wall after wall, I found this site via Ask.com. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU again for posting this. You'va saved me much grief and headache. The soft reset worked, and I have my lifeline back (yes, I use my iPhone frequently and get upset if it's not working). Thank you SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO much for posting this article.
