Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 Notebooks

Fujitsu announced the LifeBook S2210, a compact business notebook. The S2210 features a 13.3 -inch display, modular bay, and a spill resistant keyboard.

It’s powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 processor (1.6GHz), with up to 2GB of DDR 667 MHz memory and 100GB hard drive. A dual -layer DVD burner is included on all configurations. An optional battery can replace the DVD burner for long trips away from the office.

Fujitsu’s bundled a good combo of business-minded security features, including a fingerprint scanner (optional) , TPM, Computrace BIOS module and drive shock protection. There’s also a mini S-video adapter included so you can easily sync up to projectors.

A Bluetooth adapter is included on the most expensive configuration and a memory card slot (Memory Stick Pro and SD Card) is standard.

The Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 starts at $1,299 with Vista Home Basic, 512MB of memory and 40GB drive. The next step up in pre-configs is $1,699 and includes Windows Vista Buesiness, 1GB of memory, 80GB hard drive, and the fingerprint scanner. If you want all the goodies, including 2GB of memory, the Bluetooth adapter, and 100GB hard drive, it’ll set you back $1,979.
