I have purchased a notebook from gateway for their name and customer service record for them to sell me off to mpc corporation. i am about to send my notebook in for the 5th time for the same repair with mpc and get jacked around with them. i bought a gateway product for gateway service, not for them to not honor their warrenty repair and sell me to a shitty company. there are lots of people in this area that will never buy gateway again because of this. my home computer has since switched brands too. I do not see how gateway can still be considered number 1.
