Future Microsoft OS’s Have Cute Nicknames

The Window’s OS that will someday replace Vista is code-named “Fiji.” Not sure how Microsoft picks their names, but maybe the company should sequester its software developers on one of Fiji’s remote, unpopulated islands so they can concentrate on getting it out on time. I bet we wouldn’t have to wait 6 years to get new software on our laptops if Bill Gates turned this whole OS into a reverse Survivors-one cup of rice a day and they only get to leave the island after the OS is rolled out- any major bugs and you’re left behind.

After Fiji there is “Vienna.”

Maybe they can have a Fiji-inspired happy-dance and dress the execs up in straw skirts and coconut bikinis…at least they can entertain us while we wait.
